VoLUNTEER STAFF
SERVING TOGETHER, TRANSFORMING MARSEILLE
If you are interested in experiencing what a YWAM base is like, we would love to have you as a volunteer. Come and serve for anywhere between 3 weeks – 3 months. As a volunteer staff you would be involved in all of our daily activities (meals, worship, times of evangelism, prayer etc.) As well, you would be helping out in ministries that enable our base to function, such as our kitchen, maintenance or hospitality team. You do not have to have completed a DTS to volunteer on staff with us. If you have any questions please let us know, we would love to hear from you. Our base provides two avenues for Volunteer Staffing. At particular times of the year we offer a Missions Experience and throughout the other times of the year we have the opportunity for you to join us as Support Staff.
MISSIONS EXPERIENCE
STEP INTO MINISTRY AND SERVE THE CITY
Our Missions Experience is designed to immerse you in the heart of ministry here in Marseille. Available at specific times throughout the year, this program offers a structured, impactful experience for those who feel called to outreach and evangelism. You’ll join other volunteers as part of a dynamic, short-term team with a clear focus: to serve the city, share the love of Christ, and engage in ministry opportunities that change lives.
Whether it’s working with the marginalised, praying over the city, participating in street evangelism, or engaging in creative outreach, this program is a perfect way to get hands-on experience in the mission field while developing your gifts and deepening your walk with God.

SUPPORT STAFF
SERVE AND SUPPORT THE MISSION
For those who want to make a difference in a more practical way, becoming Support Staff at YWAM Marseille is the perfect fit. This role is crucial to the day-to-day operations of our base and enables the long-term team to focus on outreach, ministry and other base needs. Support staff can join us at any time throughout the year and help in various areas like kitchen service, maintenance, hospitality, and administrative tasks. By lending your time and talents, you’re directly contributing to the effectiveness and sustainability of our mission here in Marseille.
Whether you’re keeping our facilities running smoothly, preparing meals for the team, or welcoming new guests, your service helps create an environment where ministry can flourish. No matter your skill set, there’s a place for you to serve and support the work God is doing in the city.
